€ 20,000 to provide nutrition education 30 courses for immigrants
The regional government has approved a grant of 20,055 euros to the University Foundation of San Antonio to perform 30 nutrition education courses aimed at foreigners resident in the municipalities of Murcia, Totana, Torre Pacheco, Cartagena, Lorca and Mazarrón.
The aim is to promote healthy habits to prevent disease and promote social integration of immigrants.
€ 170,000 for the operation of municipal music schools
The regional government has approved grants amounting to 170,102 euros for the operation and purchase of instruments of municipal music schools from 18 municipalities, which perform an important role in promotion and dissemination of musical education.
Totana receive € 6912.93 for the operation and € 1,480.26 for the purchase of instruments
Over 3.4 million euros for the implementation of DTT in the municipalities of the Region
The Governing Council has approved a grant of 3,439,000 euros to the 45 municipalities of the Region of Murcia for the implementation of Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT), action that is part of the Second Development Plan of the Information Society 2008-2010.
The goal is the expansion of terrestrial digital television signals across the regional geography, adapting premises to receive them.
Another aim is to promote awareness of the transition to DTT and this technology among citizens, for what is needed the cooperation of the municipalities in the region.
