On Sunday December 14th, the Athletics Club athlete Totana "JC Pallets-EE", Manuel Jiménez Benítez, was in Andalusia to take part in one of the toughest races in the area, the Walking to Raise XIII Sorcery in Motril (Granada).
The test began at 10 am, from Motril Park of the Peoples of America, where 206 runners started the climb to the top of Sorcery, located at 1,300 meters.
After 17 kilometers upstream, overcoming a height difference of 700 meters, the final goal managed to cross the 170 athletes, among whom was Manuel.
A hardness test was joined by the cold and wind that accompanied the participants during the test.
The next meeting of the athletes will be next Sunday Club, where a good representation of these will move to Molina de Segura to take part in a new edition of the half marathon of the town of Murcia.
