The "Municipal School Parents," directed to all the families concerned and sensitized to the difficult and arduous task of educating the children, taught on Thursday 30 October, the talk on the importance of parental involvement as school at eight-thirty in the afternoon in the Sociocultural Centre "Jail."
The program, which gave its kick-off on 16 October and was attended by around fifty families, aims to create a meeting involving parents in order to educate them and inform them on issues relating to children.
This initiative, organized jointly by the Department of Social Welfare and Education, particularly for technical Truancy Services, Drug Addiction Prevention and Intercultural Mediation, provides an extensive and varied program related to current issues, addressing specific issues to enable parents appropriate tools to meet the challenges of parenthood, with the aim of this school "to become a space for reflection and participation of both parents and other education professionals."
The planned workshops, which will be held at the Sociocultural Centre "Jail" at half past eight p.m. two Thursdays a month, will focus on content such as communication between parents and children, rules and limits, strategies to help children in school, how to energize a Parents Association, communication with partner and children, family, drugs and adolescence, hounded "the bullying, multiculturalism, eating disorders, absenteeism, delay and learning difficulties sexuality ...
