The City Council, through the Local Government Board, has awarded the execution of the works to install a lift to school "Santa Eulalia" of Totana, the commercial "Hermanos Construcciones SA Palomares, amounting to 47134.83 euros, to remove architectural barriers in the system and enhance its accessibility.
The works will include the installation of an elevator to improve accessibility to public school, arranged over two floors.
This is a school that has ramps for access to the floor, but currently lacks access to the upper floor of the lift mechanism and some alternative, so it is necessary to give a lift to the center to facilitate accessibility.
It is for this reason that the municipality aims to project an electric elevator with two stops and sleeps 8, and whose installation will be carried out various reforms in the building, such as the opening of the hole, the modification of ramps and landing access to downtown, and the reinforcement of the roof terrace for conversion into passable with the addition of guard rails.
