The Collective for Social Promotion "The Candle" in collaboration with the Instituto Murciano Social Action and the Social and Labour Integration Service of the Department of Social Welfare of the City of Totana, funded by European Social Funds, starts one of the training activities being developed within the project "WORK: A step towards employability."
The workshop entitled "Social Skills for employment lasting a total of 60 hours, with the participation of 18 unemployed people in the municipality.
Through this project is to inform, guide and accompany the process of preparation and research to get a job to the unemployed with special difficulties in access to employment.
This is an initiative of socio-professional nature, whereby it is intended to facilitate the employment of those persons in the town of Totana found in situations of risk or social exclusion and are interested in actively participating in changing their status unemployment.
This resource is intended as "a step towards the employability of participants, based on both the personal guidance, conducting individualized itineraries of insertion, and specific training workshops that address the characteristics and needs of participants, enabling them to purpose of placing them in a better position in the labor market, thus both access to employment and maintenance.
Similarly, in this workshop will work with the business of the municipality, through the figure of a working prospector who made a detailed study of existing jobs in business and the profile to be met by workers to access them, in addition to following the process and adaptation to the job with those inserted and worker-company mediation in cases where it is necessary to resolve any difficulties or problems.
The specific actions that the collective "The Candle" will continue to develop within the project "Labor" will focus on career counseling, individual sessions to jointly establish with the participants their route to employment and develop their professional profile, Social Orientation, Education and Exploration search for potential jobs.
It plans to deliver in November a workshop on "Job Search Techniques: An Approach to business reality," 60 hours.
