The Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, has signed two agreements with the Minister of Social Policy, Women and Migration, Joaquín Bascuñana, through which the Consistory inject almost € 400,000 for the grant of immigration programs and to improve and expansion of services of the Center for Early Care and Occupational Center "José Moya."
During the signing of agreements that has taken place in the city of Molina de Segura in which more than 20 mayors of grantees, a total of 9.5 million euros, the Minister of Social Policy explained that immigration subsidies have been distributed in proportion to the foreign population enumerated in the municipalities.
The City Council has received a total of 267,056.03 euros for the development of social integration programs for immigrant communities.
On the other hand, by the second agreement, with a total grant of 166,900 euros, will expand and improve services provided at the Center for Early Care and Occupational Center "José Moya."
In relation to this project, the Consistory to invest 64,190 euros.
Following the signing of the agreements, the mayor said that with these grants is shown the excellent collaboration between the Department and the City Council to extend the municipal map of aids in social policy.
In this regard indicated that it is important to work in early intervention, because it can detect behaviors that may lead to further problems for the child's development, therefore, explained Martínez Andreo, having a center of its kind in Totana and the best specialists is a bet on the future of these children.
