The councilman of Social Welfare and responsible for Immigration, Juan Carrion Tudela, accompanied by the councilman of Celebration, Josefa María Sánchez, inaugurated on Sunday the "Meeting of Cultures" that took place in the Plaza Vieja with Balsa conducting various workshops and activities throughout the morning.
This activity, which is part of the "Autumn intercultural", organized by the Municipal Immigration Service of the Department of Social Welfare in collaboration with more than a dozen local organizations, intended to "promote knowledge of cultures and people existing in the locality, encouraging positive attitudes and values of respect, tolerance and coexistence, promoting mutual understanding of issues and values of cultures and are now mainly present in our society "
During the afternoon of Sunday, the Auditorio Municipal Park "Marcos Ortiz" hosted the "Meeting of Cultures" with music, percussion and dance, among other things.
