The restoration of the shrine of Our Lady of the Rosary of The Paretón-Cantareros, which began implementing its first phase late last year, will be inaugurated on Sunday 10 August, in the presence of municipal authorities and the vicar episcopal pastoral zone of Lorca, José Antonio Abellán.
The restoration of the chapel, a building of monumental interest, has been carried out in three phases.
In the first phase was carried out to complete rehabilitation with the restoration of the original building and implementation of a new building to integrate the parish complex according to the project drafted by the municipal architect Guerao Francisco López.
The second phase of this work called "New construction finishes," consisted in the rehabilitation of the chapel and parish halls and in the third phase proceeded to the urbanization of the area with paving and lighting.
