The councilman of Deportes, José Antonio Valverde Queen, accompanied by sports coach, José Luis Hernández, closed the first course of the activities of the first half of July Summer School 2008 with the delivery of diplomas, in the Municipal Sports "December 6, a portion of the 400 children in the county enrolled in the different sports this summer.
The mayor, said the number of successful child participation in the activities of this year, with the assistance of a dozen monitors in total.
Thus, expressed his satisfaction and pride in the high number of entries and the proper functioning of the activities offered, congratulating turn, both the technical and sports instructors.
Moreover, Valverde has highlighted the quality of training for both professional and human monitors that offer the different sports activities offered by the Department of Sports this summer.
Summer Sports School is held from Monday to Friday from 10 to 13 hours, and during this period, children have the opportunity to practice a variety of sports and multisport, Aquadiver, swimming, tennis, and many more activities, well as recreational trips and workshops.
The Sports Department also offered to all students at our school sporting a healthy lunch at midmorning, as well as accompanying sports monitors on the bus, both the outward and for the return.
The distribution of students has been established in five categories: kids (4 and 5 years), prebenjamines (6 and 7), Benjamin (8 and 9), fingerlings (10 to 12 years) and young (13 to 15 years ), with various activities scheduled for each of these categories depending on ages.
During the months of July and August, the Department of Sports has offered four courses in the Summer Sports School of fifteen days.
The first course of the first half of July began last July 1 and is precisely the one that ended today with the delivery of diploma for all participants.
The second course will begin tomorrow Wednesday July 16 through July 31, while the third and fourth will be launched in the early and mid-August, respectively.
