Source:

Councilwoman Markets, María Isabel Sánchez Ruiz, recently held a working meeting with members of the Local Police Sergeant Totana and fire station chief, in order to improve and increase vigilance and security in the weekly market , which is held every Wednesday in the town.

In this sense, the mayor moved both members belonging to these bodies, that "the occurrence of an emergency, within the precinct of the market, as in any of the houses adjacent to it, could lead to serious consequences" .

For this reason, Isabel Maria emphasized the need for ex ante preventive measures aimed at preventing the occurrence of accidents and contemplate additional security measures designed to minimize human and material consequences they might cause.

Thus, we evaluated situations that could occur during the market such as the accessibility of a fire truck or ambulance to the market.

Therefore agreed to abide by the Special Plan Totana Weekly Market and proceed to upgrade in order to study and implement it in a short space of time.
