Shops Innkeepers Association Totana Center (CHACT) and the Federation of Peñas de Carnaval, with the cooperation of the City of Totana, will organize activities in a carnival tent to be set up to boost the Balsa Vieja Square and the surrounding days that parades are held.
The president of the Federation of Peñas del Carnaval, Antonio Garcia and responsible CHACT Martin Miras, presented the list of activities to be held during these days in the city center, with which it is intended to enliven the atmosphere festival coinciding with the celebration of the three parades, 6, 7 and 13 February.
Thus, Saturday, February 6th, the parade of adults will be held, starting at 16:30 pm with the departure from the old IES "Juan de la Cierva" in Lorca Avenue and crossing the square the Constitution, Bridge Street, San Antonio and fairgrounds.
The two Saturday mornings, from 10:30 pm in the Plaza de la Balsa Vieja, a chocolate with the "Thread of Carnival" will be held;
and at noon, will be a Fair Day with a tasting of the "Top Carnavalera" both initiatives with the hoteliers of Totana.
On Saturday, 6th, a popular pot for all attendees will taste;
while the following Saturday, the 13th, a paella for people who make an appointment in the city center before the parades, respectively will cook.
In addition, the Saturday, February 13 for the second consecutive year, will take place the parade of the 17 clubs in Totana and ten foreign, beginning at 16:30 hours and being first broadcast live on the string "7 Television Region Murcia "for the whole autonomous region.
