The Executive Committee of the Local Group of Totana PSOE has approved the following resolution regarding the General Plan of Municipal:
"The PSOE ratifies what is manifesting and doing, since 1999, with respect to a new general plan.
We understand that planning for the future of Totana has to have broad political and social consensus.
We can not fall into the mistake of planning to be changing economic, territorial and social future of our town based on the current government, as this would seriously harm the interests of the city and our neighbors and neighbors.
The PP has never understood that the future of a city and its neighbors and neighbors can not be planned according to certain political and personal interests.
We do not understand as now requires agility in processing the General Municipal Management Plan when they alone are responsible for that for 12 years (2003-2015) our council has been unable to plan the future of our town.

We will be consistent with the political position we have advocated from the beginning and especially with the commitments we made in the last May with totaneras and totaneros.
Therefore, our proposal for managing the Municipal General Management Plan constitute passes, with immediate effect, an advisory body and representative of the political, economic and social plurality participation that occurs in our town and also to independent experts, in order to submit for your consideration the current General Plan and the city model in which we live in the future.
We understand that this is the best way to implement citizen participation and consensus that all political groups and society in general touts.
In parallel, we will propose for the consideration of other political parties an immediate change in those aspects of the General Plan, which were approved against the general interest and which enjoy a broad consensus to be changed.
The General Municipal Management Plan is the most important tool we have to plan our future and that of totaneras totaneros in the next 20 or 30 years.
Therefore, we will not rush into decisions because a mistake could have serious consequences for the majority.
