The Department of Sports reports that last Saturday, December 12, occurred Phase Local Chess School Sports, organized by the Department of Sports and Chess Club in the Sports Pavilion "Manolo Ibáñez", which was with a participation of 31 schools from the youngest categories, juvenile, infant, cadet and youth from different schools of the town.
The final winners in the different categories were: Francisco Lopez Martinez (La Cruz) in male benjamin;
Narjes Hajjaj Rock (Regional) in female benjamin;
Trinidad Ceron Amaguaya (La Milagrosa) in male juvenile;
Carmen Garcia Requena (Tierno Galvan) in juvenile female;
Juan José Vera Pargada (Juan de la Cierva), male infant;
Clara Lopez Martinez (La Milagrosa) in female children;
Alejandro Cayuela Tudela (Juan de la Cierva) in male cadet;
Cindy Ceron Amaguaya (Juan de la Cierva), in female cadet;
Cabrera and Andrés Almeida (Prado Mayor) in male juvenile category.
This local phase Chess concluded with the presentation of trophies to the top three finishers in each category, by the First Deputy Mayor of Totana, Andres Garcia Canovas
Councilwoman Personnel Gertrudis Maria Ruiz Tudela;
and the president of the Chess Club Totana, Pedro Garre.
In addition, the best students classified ads in this school competition will have the opportunity to participate in the Regional Phase Chess School Sports, organized by the Directorate General of Sports in the Region of Murcia.
