A banner placed on the facade of the City against the proposed High Voltage Line in the towns of Totana and Aledo

Totana City Council has placed a large banner, 11.50 per one meter, on the balcony of the main facade of the town hall against the project of High Voltage Line in the towns of Totana and Aledo.

The banner reads the slogan "No, the route of the power line," and remain on display in the Town Hall in solidarity to the 150 affected residents of Totana and against the execution of the project.

Totana Town Council, through the departments of Tourism and Environment, launched a campaign last week on social networks in order to raise awareness among users and the general public of the harm that entails in both areas implementation of this infrastructure .

The route of this line affects delugares vicinity of great cultural, scenic and environmental interest as the site of La Bastida enTotana and the Strait of Arboleja in Aledo.
