Totana Town Council, through the departments of Environment, Urban Waste and Environmental Education and with the collaboration of "Ecoembalajes Spain, SA", organized within the information campaign "Let's separate fine, recycle better," the drawing contest entitled "The Recycling, you paint a lot", aimed at students of 6th of Primary of all schools in the municipality.
The aim is to achieve greater involvement of children in the culture of recycling, fostering in students the separation of light packaging waste and waste paper and cardboard for subsequent deposit in the yellow and blue bins.
The theme focuses on the name of the information campaign and it aims to promote recycling increasingly smaller amount of improper waste.
Therefore, students in their work clearly reflected in the yellow container must deposit cartons, cans and plastic containers and blue container, packaging paper and cardboard, newspapers and magazines are requested.
The work must be performed in the A4-size sheets provided by the departments and can be used any pictorial technique or procedure chosen by the participant, either, watercolor, tempera, wax, etc., also including the possibility of using new technologies.
Also, all entries must include the name in the presentation of the 2015 campaign;
and each picture must bear on the back of the card, you specify the name of the center from which his class and a list number assigned to the student by the teacher responsible for this activity.
Therefore it is imperative that a number and class appears, never the child's name, next to the name of the center.
This number will have been awarded by the teacher responsible for each student, so the teacher will have a list with the list of students and the number of personal involvement.
The term that will have to perform the work will be the 20th and until the 30th of this November.
The drawings will be delivered to the guardian, or if the teacher responsible for the competition;
and environmental educator, responsible for organizing and managing the contest, collect the drawings in the center next December 1st.
Once collected all the pictures, they will be the Department of the Environment, where he will proceed to the vote by the jury of three winners.
The three prizes to be awarded will be a tablet (first clasificado9, MP4 (second place) and a lot of school supplies (third place).
All participating centers will be informed before 15 December decision of the jury.
The awards ceremony will take place at a public event to be held in the hall of the City Council, on 17 December, from 12.00.
The jury will be composed of various heads of the departments of Environment, Waste and Environmental Education.
