The City Council strongly condemns and shows its institutional revulsion at what supposedly could be two new cases of gender violence in Spain, which amount to 37 fatalities so far this year.
The two victims have died of cases of violence against women in Pontevedra and Fuengirola.
From the Consistory totanero emphasis is on the need to work all together to slow and stop this social scourge so we insist on the need to raise awareness through education to prevent behaviors that encourage inequality between men and women.
Against gender violence must be a common front of "Zero Tolerance";
because not only remember the people who are murdered by their partners, but also to all those who suffer every day in their homes any type of physical or psychological violence.
