The Mayor of Totana, Juan José Canovas, has filed a motion for regular full October in favor of state launched "against sexist violence" that will take place on November 7 in Madrid, and will attend a bus from this city;
and seeking to help victims of gender violence.
The proposal takes place on 7-N-2015 in the City Hall a purple banner with the slogan 'Against the macho violence "and promote citizen participation in the March;
and do so every year on November 25 to mark the international day against violence against women.
The municipalities, as nearest institution are essential for prevention and social, legal and psychological assistance provided for in Article 19 of the 2004 state law, as stated in the proposal.
The motion also states the Mayor support every day of the year, every year, personal, material and political equality and for prevention and legal, social and psychological care for victims of gender violence, fulfilling the art.

The initiative also intends to apply for a stable and quality care, in terms of greater accessibility, confidentiality, protection and anonymity, including rehabilitation, evaluation and monitoring, which implies direct public management of services for equality and against gender violence.
The motion will be discussed at the regular meeting of October and calls for her contribution to the promotion of equality and against gender violence in all places and in all stages of education, cooperating with the school community.
In addition, we want to promote awareness against sexism in cultural activities, organization of celebrations, security and coexistence and all the activities and services under municipal jurisdiction;
and promote the eradication of sexism, segregation, harassment and sexual stereotypes in all our actions and services
The last of the agreements the mayor's proposal refers to urge special attention to women with multiple discrimination and other groups assaulted by male violence, as people with sexual diversity, immigrants with functional diversity, stops or dependents, and not incurring multiple victimization in care processes and the involvement of civil society, particularly women's organizations.
