The municipal website is the most transparent www.totana.es seventh of the Region of Murcia, as is clear from the study of Infoparticip @ Map by researchers at the University of Murcia and the Catholic University "San Antonio", a project funded by the Ministry of Economy seeks to assess the level of transparency and citizen participation of Spanish consistories.
This report aims to understand the situation of the municipalities to meet the famous Transparency Law that will take effect with the new year, as well as tools of public behavior that offered to citizens.
Ahead of Totana, is, in this order, Cartagena, Murcia, Molina de Segura, Lorca, Torres de Cotillas and Lorquí.
Behind, the remaining 38 municipalities whose websites have been evaluated are located.
These figures, moreover, show that no municipality in the region is 100% compliant with the standards of transparency and therefore not optimally provide information on: 1. The corporation;
2. The use of collective resources;
3. The management of their representatives;
and 4. participation tools, the four-point analysis of this test.
The study concludes, among other things, that more than 70% of the municipalities or the name of the representatives of the opposition are not given;
neither the calendar nor the composition or the functions of government bodies are not present;
it is not unusual to find the records of town meetings and, much less, the publication of government agreement.
In the same study it collected data on accounts and budgets scarce and, ultimately, the municipalities in the region of Murcia are far from providing corrected information to which its citizens have the right, from next 1 January, by law.
