The Department of Citizenship reports that according to data contained in the Municipal Register of Associations and Institutions of Totana, are 391 associations of various kinds which make up the social fabric of the municipality of which 319 remain active today.
The Department of Citizenship now stands at the Socio-Cultural Center "Jail" by the Youth Council.
One of its main objectives is to support groups and nonprofit associations of the town so several services among which the Department of Information, Guidance and Counselling Associations- (SIOA) are offered.
This service is oriented and reports on different topics;
formation of associations, registration procedures, project development, etc.
loan services of local municipal social and material support for the development of non-profit activities.
