The Councillor for Human Resources and Internal Affairs, Gertrude Maria Ruiz, recently met with members of the Committee on Occupational Safety and Health of the City of Totana in order to study its implementation during this term, and the adoption of a rules of operation.
The committee is composed of three delegates of prevention, which in turn are representatives of workers Totana Town Council and three representatives of the company.
Likewise, they participated in the meeting as advisors to the social, trade union representatives and Isabel Garcia Antonio Canovas.
During the meeting what the situation was assessed risk programs and emergency plans and evacuation of different workplaces in the City Council in order to update it in case they were needed.
From the Department of Human Resources and Internal Affairs Committee on Safety and Health Council of Totana dependent on this area, coinciding with the new political period and with the aim of regulating the periodic consultation of actions of the company in risk prevention is convened , given that, during the previous legislature was established but did not function as such.
The powers of this committee is to participate in the development, implementation and evaluation of plans and programs for the prevention of risks of the City of Totana and promote initiatives on methods and procedures for effective risk prevention, proposing the company improving conditions or correcting the deficiencies.
At the next meeting we will proceed to the constitution of the Committee and approval of their operating rules.
