The councilman of Social Welfare and Dependence, Javier Baths, and the Elderly, Antonia Camacho, have closed the 2014/2015 course in Occupational Center "José Moya Trilla" in Totana, engaging in some of the activities planned and the assistance to the delivery of diplomas to our users.
Students enjoyed throughout the morning of games, contests, dances and entertainment programmed by professionals.
The center is a day care service that serves people with intellectual disabilities by providing personal care and occupational nature, promoting their independence and facilitating appropriate to the needs of users with respect to personal care, basic activities of daily living support and personal development.
It is open 222 days a year and is open from 8:15 to 17:30, Monday to Friday.
In the same intervention programs to improve cognitive, psycho capacities and participation and social integration are developed;
food and nutrition;
cleanliness, hygiene and sphincter control and prevention of falls and postural hygiene.
It also has basic services to assist the basic activities of daily living, accessible transportation and maintenance;
prevention, counseling and guidance for autonomy, personal attention and rehabilitation, functional rehabilitation, sensory stimulation, communication, health and safety, psychosocial support, counseling to families or guardians, among others.
