The City Council strongly condemns and shows its institutional revulsion at what supposedly could be a new case of gender violence in Spain, which amount to 21 fatalities so far this year.

A 33 year old woman was killed this morning in his home in the rural district of Sant Jordi, near the airport of Palma de Mallorca.

The violent death occurred due to stab wounds that supposedly dealt him his former partner, JS, a 38-year Spanish nationality, and stopped.

From the Consistory totanero emphasis is on the need to work all together to slow and stop this social scourge so we insist on the need to raise awareness through education to prevent behaviors that encourage inequality between men and women.

Against gender violence must be a common front of "Zero Tolerance";

because not only remember the people who are murdered by their partners, but also to all those who suffer every day in their homes any type of physical or psychological violence.

It is for this reason that you must continue to insist on prevention campaigns from all levels of society so that there is no regret that cases of domestic violence.
