The Directorate General of Roads of the Ministry of Development and Public Works is preparing the RM-609 road, known as Highway Mazarrón, from the link of the A-7 (Totana Centre) to the roundabout at La Turra, in access to the village, according to sources from the Department of Works and Infrastructure.
The works consist of the full paving of the road and the new horizontal and vertical signaling pathway.
This infrastructure supports a large vehicle traffic throughout the day, and also of heavy vehicles to be an industrial and cooperative band surrounding this road.
This action is part of the commitments made in this area in the meetings that the mayor, Isabel Maria Sanchez, had with the General Director of Roads, Jose Guijarro Antonio Gallego.
The Department of Public Safety and Traffic asks drivers traveling through this route during these days coinciding with the execution of the works, and follow the signs to work cautiously.
