Hiking program of the Department of Sports is resumed with a route through the bank of the River Segura as it passes through Murcia.
It was directed by Professor José García Huéscar and ran between Murcia and the campus of Espinardo by Speck left bank of the River Segura.
The group stopped to rest in the Contraparada and then went to the village of Ribera de Molina, the Greenway old railway from Murcia to Caravaca and having as final destination the campus of Espinardo.
Along the route several stops to contemplate and discuss various landscape elements were: typical houses in the garden, unique buildings, vegetation, varied avifauna of the river (ducks, swans, geese, herons, moorhens ...), the Contraparada and traditional irrigation systems Orchard Murcia.
The route was conducted in four hours walkers coming back to Totana at 14:30.
The following route will take place Sunday March 8 and will run through the Barranco Blanco and Cresta del Gallo (municipality of Murcia) with a total of 10 kilometers and low difficulty.
