On Saturday February 7 took place in San Pedro del Pinatar Regional Final Badminton School Sports, organized by the Directorate General of Youth and Sports of the Region of Murcia, where teaching centers totaneros La Milagrosa participated, District Deitania , Reina Sofia, Juan de la Cierva and Prado Mayor.
In juvenile female category, Deitania Regional College won first place in the final after beating the Colegio Ciudad de La Paz El Palmar, with Laura García Marín and Virginia Canovas Molina.
In male juvenile, the School District Deitania team formed by Javier Moreno Canovas and Juan Miguel Gonzalez Ruiz, had to settle for third place, falling defeated in the semifinals also by the School City of Peace.
On the other hand, the male junior category, the Colegio La Milagrosa managed to finish regional champion, after winning the final at St. Augustine College of Fuente Alamo, with Alfonso Valenzuela and Pedro Hernandez.
In this same category, the team of IES Juan de la Cierva formed by Casey Caltworthy and Anas Hichami, could not get past the quarterfinal round, falling defeated by the IES Juan Carlos I of Murcia.
In the male cadet, also the team Colegio La Milagrosa climbed to the very top of the podium, winning the final against IES Florida Towers Cotillas with Carrión Alberto Espinosa, Jonathan Ismael Andrade Andrade and Abenza Alfonso Plazas.
In this same category, the team of Reina Sofia College, formed by Alberto López and Jaime Heredia Molino Canovas, lost in the quarterfinals to the Colegio Los Olivos Molina de Segura.
In female embodiment, the IES Prado Mayor just in third place after losing in the semifinals to the IES Salvador Sandoval of Las Torres de Cotillas.
The competition concluded with the presentation of trophies and medals to the top three finishers in each category, by the Head of the Sports Department of Youth and Sports of the Region of Murcia, Eduardo Segarra Vicens equipment.
