The campaign of surveillance and control of school transport that made the local police promoted by the Directorate General of Traffic (DGT) has resulted in Totana without any complaints after the checks carried out at two local companies for this purpose.
The campaign a new control campaign for school transport vehicles was held on November 30 on conventional roads and urban streets.
The agents focused mainly on inspections on vehicles, authorizations and documents, technical specifications and security features such as belts and restraint systems.
Further emphasis was placed on controlling drivers, checking with your permission in order, driving times and corresponding breaks.
The aim was to certify that school traveling in maximum security conditions, ensuring that both drivers and vehicles meet the requirements for this type of service.
The importance of school transport in urban areas requires a special involvement of municipalities in the campaign, so that the local police of each municipality also control on urban roads to these vehicles.
Nineteen municipalities are added
In this regard a total of nineteen municipalities in the region of Murcia joined her in order to ensure the safety of the smallest, among which is that of Totana.
