Councilwoman Caminos, María José Bedia, reports that have recently completed work on repair and upgrading the country road "La Serrana", which has funded the region and has had a budget of 158,264.63 euros.
The works have been undertaken over the past two months by the company "and Projects, SL" and allowed the settlement of pavement that was very run down, since it is an area of ​​heavy vehicle traffic.
The road has a total length of 1,000 meters and a width of about 5 meters;
and is located in the place known as "La Serrana", just before the junction of the RM-315 road with the Guadalentín river, connecting this way with a service road of the National Institute for Reform and Agricultural Development (IRYDA).
The rural road fixed, a public road second order according to the municipal ordinance regulating the communication of Totana, serving a township enterprise known horticultural and several detached houses in the area.
This infrastructure was badly damaged by the passage of time and traffic loads, with the result that the conditions under which it was not guaranteed the right road safety for vehicles.
The Autonomous Region plans to begin now the fitting of road Laces, in the hamlet of La Breeches, within the Regional Plan Conditioning Rural Roads.
