The Department of Infrastructure and Works has carried out works to improve accessibility to the hermitage of La Huerta with the construction of a walkway.
The works, which are a historical demand of the residents of La Huerta, have involved the construction of a retaining wall of the community center and access to it by an accessible ramp, and the adequacy of access and ramp from the parking area to the shrine, railing and handrail.
The residents of this area have already enjoyed this new enhancement coinciding with the celebrations of the parish last weekend and attended the local authorities were held.
The actions have been executed by the company "Brothers Construction Palomares, SA" amounting to 17,500 and included the lining of the wall by painting similar to existing color in the next railing and painted buildings.
