On Friday June 27, 2014 took place the Extraordinary General Assembly on the occasion of the election of the new Board of the Brotherhood of the Holy Christ of the Fall and Elevation of the Cross of Totana.
For elections two candidates, one presided by Agustin Lopez Valenzuela and the other by José Antonio Martínez Heredia presented.
Once the introductions of both boards for candidates voting began.
In the first vote exercised their right to vote 215 brothers, giving a result of 125 votes for the nomination of Agustín Valenzuela and 90 votes for Jose Antonio Heredia.
Despite the difference of 35 votes, to not get the 2/3 of voters, as was established in the statutes, passed a second vote in which suffice to get an absolute majority.
After making the second ballot, in which participated 194 siblings, the result was 116 votes for Agustín Valenzuela, 77 votes for Jose Antonio Heredia and a null vote.
So, with a difference of 39 votes is elected Agustín Valenzuela finally as president of The Fall.
