Students in the course of professional certificate known youth information services that are provided in the Youth Council by an educational visit.
This course is taught by the Department of Youth and Sports, in collaboration with the Regional Employment and Training in the Region of Murcia, and the Informajoven Youth Council of the City of Totana.
This visit is part of the Certificate Practice module, comprising, in addition to the practices in Youth Information Centres of educational visits to Informajóvenes and Department of Youth, with extensive experience and expertise in municipal youth services and specifically in the Youth Information area.
The students were able to learn about the programs and services offered by the Informajoven, a free public service that provides information, advice and guidance to the youth of the town, on issues related to employment, competitions, travel, tourism, cultural activities, housing, courses , leisure, young Booklets, awards and competitions, scholarships and grants, youth participation, health, associations, etc., and any other topic that is of interest to young people.
They have also known the operation of the center, as to-face service, decentralization of information through bulletin boards located in different districts of the town, the Correspondent Program at IES, information points in different local municipalities, youth website, mailing lists email, social networking and Municipal Agenda.
During the visit they have found how to carry out the programs of Department of Youth: Training The Prison Solidarity Square, Educational Support, Professional Monographs, Leisure Activities, Summer Youth, Associations, among others.
The Directorate General of Youth and Sports has taken an important step to provide a Certificate of Competence related to the field of youth and specifically in the area of ​​youth information.
