The city of Totana inaugurate the new auditorium of the Paretón-Cantareros next March 8th to coincide with the great celebration of Carnival in the village.
The inauguration will take place after the parade of Carnival celebrated in the streets of this district.
This versatile infrastructure has an area of ​​about 600 square meters and is located next to the complex services where the Senior Center, the Medical Center and Social Center "Juana Serrano" of this parish.
It has a large open multipurpose room of about 490 square meters to accommodate socio-cultural activities organized and promoted by the local administration and the various groups and organizations in the locality.
It also has two toilets, a store and a café, respectively.
In addition, the building has a capacity to accommodate 500 people standing or 300 seated people installing a stage.
This infrastructure was paralyzed in the previous term liquidity problems and finished in it.
The building will be named "The Hall of Paretón", as proposed at the time the residents of this hamlet, while they nominate the area in which are located the local social infrastructure, downtown seniors and the new hall complex under the name "The Sheds Cistern of the López", responding to a full agreement of February 2011.
The City Council will name this resort thanks to the neighbors who gave free these lands for the construction of these public infrastructure of general interest.
