The Royal Spanish Table Tennis Federation has published the national ranking of all categories on the occasion of the upcoming State Tournament which will be played in Valladolid February 28 to March 2 next.
This is the single most important table tennis tournament in Spain in which to participate you have to occupy one of the 48 seats contested in the national ranking all both male and female categories.
The good news for our club is that three of our juvenile players have qualified for this tournament.
They are twins and Dominic Santiago and Juan Pedro Sánchez.
Santiago got direct place to be third in the national tournament held in Alcobendas last December and ranks 38th in the national ranking.
Sunday, the end was in ninth place earning him the points to add missing him after his good performance in the zonal Granada last November.

The Juan Pedro has more merit yet it is his first year and got his juvenile classification directly in the zonal tournament to be in Granada since putting him eighth on 48 points in 36th.

All three are well prepared this competition that are going to play to the best of its class Spaniards and although none of the three are favorites to reach the final stage surely going to try it.
Competition in all categories takes place in a 1st phase of 8 groups of 6 players from which the first 3 are classified.

The best position is occupied totaneros Domingo Mendez in the veterans category add 50 after getting 110 points for his victory at the zonal putting him ranked # 10.
