The Bishop of the Diocese of Cartagena, Jose Manuel Lorca Planes, today presided over the Holy Mass celebrated in the parish of St. James Major to mark the feast of the patron of Totana, Santa Eulalia de Mérida, and attended by many faithful .

Many parishioners, civil and religious authorities, and representatives of the Board of The Holy Foundation, attended the Mass celebrated in the parish church coinciding with the patron saint's day.

The Mass was also concelebrated by the Episcopal Vicar of the area of ​​Lorca, Francisco Fructuoso Andrew Parsons and José Ruiz and Pedro García Hernández Cañizares.

Religious events continue today, starting at 17:00, with the solemn procession with the statue of the patron who travel the main streets of the town.

Also, starting tomorrow, the 11th, and until December 19 will be held the solemn novena in honor of St. Eulalia of Merida to preach the pastor of San Andrés and San Antonio de Mazarrón, the Rev. Julio Romero Fernández; business days at 19:30 hours and holidays, at 18:00 hours, respectively.
