The Department of Agriculture reports that tomorrow will be held in the Social Center Olympic-Pears a talk on the identification and enhancement of heritage resources with environmental protection areas of the territory "Leader".
The Association Agricultural Advisory Services and Livestock Farms in the Region of Murcia (ASAEMU) nonprofit organization linked to COAG-IR Murcia, has been making in recent months, a study project for "Cataloging and Valuation of Heritage Resources of the corners with the territory Environmental Protection Leader "West" and the determination of its potential for contributing to sustainable development of the area.
In this study we conducted an "X" exhaustive of these areas, by detecting and cataloging of the various kinds of resources (natural, cultural, or agricultural biodiversity agroculturales, ethnographic, scenic, archaeological, etc. ..) available in these areas with environmental protection (SACs and SPAs areas Natura 2000 protected areas of the Autonomous Region, ..) as well as the different activities that were being developed for the use and traditional and sustainable use of these zones.
To this end, there has been "Georeferencing and digitizing" of the location of these different resources cataloged on a Geographic Information System, which will be available to any user, once this project through a website created for this purpose.
Moreover, they have also developed a series of proposals for the possible development of initiatives and actions possible and feasible, based on rules of application for the sustainable use of these different endogenous resources cataloged that truly become tools for balanced regional development.
So, this project is intended to detect, evaluate and publicize these assets so they can be valued for its true importance as valuable resources for social and economic development balanced and sustainable for this territory, and as important elements social and cultural identity of the same.
And as the last part of the project, there is a commitment to the dissemination of its results also in the territories of the other groups LEADER of the region through public presentations of the same.
