The Mayor of Totana, Isabel Maria Sanchez, has made a priority for the new political year 2013/14 started work to promote "the conditions that contribute to economic recovery and job creation" in this county.

He recalled that in the first year of term "laid the foundation" of his political project and the second "imposed measures"-some of them unpopular but necessary, he said, to achieve a balanced budget and ensure economic viability, for what "was undertaken to reform the administration and worked with the most austere budget" (half the 2007 budget).

For this year, announced enhanced action "to enable a setting that contributes to economic stimulus and job creation", for which training will continue to encourage, support for productive sectors, overcoming administrative barriers create new businesses, the implementation of the Business Incubator, expanding tax credits and streamlining the General Plan document.

In addition, he referred to "unconditional" to agriculture and livestock, for what is going to work on solving the problem of irrigation consolidated historical as well as to the enhancement of the archaeological site "La Bastide" and encouraging the industrial park "The Salt Marsh".

The mayor announced that "not raise taxes" and reiterated the government's intention to "be with the needy" increasing social games, for citing the launch of the new Day Centre Mental Illness and updating the new municipal home help.

In terms of infrastructure, has warned that it "would not be the legislature of the infrastructures", but reiterated its commitment to "end, at least, the works that were started in the previous mandate."

In this regard, stressed to the completion of the redevelopment of the CEIP "Regional-Deitania", the Multipurpose Room of the Paretón and Health Center "South Totana" and explained that the work priority for this year is the beginning of Kabuki Bridge, while stated its intention to launch the Multipurpose Center San Jose neighborhood "if economic circumstances permit."

He also stressed the need to promote water harvesting reservoirs of the streams for agricultural reuse and referred to the state of urban planning projects of four new rural roads and Lébor dam, to be undertaken by the region and the Confederation Segura Basin.
