The Councils of Safety, Health and Social Care report the creation of a unit of Information to Victims of Road Traffic (Uvat) in Totana.

This resource, created by the General Directorate of Traffic, aims to inform victims of traffic accidents existing resources in this province, related to the care and assistance of each case and ensure their rights.

Another aim is to promote the participation of public and private institutions for the care of victims is comprehensive, effective and appropriate, thereby mitigating secondary victimization, ie, the derivative of the relationship established between the victim and the criminal justice system, police, social and health.

The Action Plan of this Uvat comprising the steps of: initial assistance and assessment of each case, information and guidance, intervention and / or referral and monitoring.
