The Summer School of Totana, which involved more than 70 local children, organized by the Collective The Candle in collaboration with the Youth Council of the City of Totana, ended its activities last Wednesday July 31.
As a finale farewell, participants, accompanied by monitors and a large number of parents, enjoyed a refreshing afternoon at the Municipal Pool Totana.
Attended by a large group of children, aged between 3 and 12 years.
This output was celebrated by the kids, as it was a convivial evening fun for them and for their families, serving as liaison between the community of the Summer School, participants, parents and monitors.
This activity is part of the program of the Summer School to offer an alternative structured and quality for leisure and free time of children during the summer.
In addition to educational support, where young people can do their homework under the supervision and support of the monitors, this year has included a workshop of English, in which the kids have strengthened knowledge acquired during the course through various activities and fun this language.
With these activities, the objectives are met at the start of the Summer School, with children and young people the true protagonists of the whole process.
