The Mayor of Totana, Isabel Maria Sanchez, and Social Care Councillor, Josefa Maria Sanchez, have welcomed the participants of the pilgrimage that starts to Lourdes (France) on Friday from the hand of the Delegation of Lourdes in Totana .
The municipal councilor welcomed the work done by this partnership to help patients who each year participate in this activity that brings together more than 1,500 people in the Region of Murcia.
Sanchez Ruiz welcomed in the village have a partnership in which the volunteers are turning wholeheartedly to carry out the activities that take place throughout the year.
For his part, President of Lourdes Hospitality, Antonio Garcia, said that thanks to the collaboration of all volunteers is achieved each year to subsidize the trip to the sick who make the pilgrimage.
