On the morning of Friday 31, visited COATO a large delegation of participants at the Sixth International Symposium on almonds and other nuts that took place along all week in Murcia, organized by the CEBAS-CSIC and the International Association Horticultural Sciences (ISHS).
The congressional delegation, composed of 50 technicians and researchers from 17 countries was headed by the organizer of the Congress, and other directors Federico Dicenta CEBAS-CSIC, and the researcher totanero Pedro Martinez Gomez.
After being greeted by the President and COATO management team, members of Congress have known a presentation on the origin and history of the company and especially its evolution and activity in the sector of almonds and nuts, while they have able to receive information on the wide range of processing and preparation processes that COATO made with almond and its derivatives.
Following the presentation, the delegation has turned a visit to COATO facilities dedicated to the processing of almonds, being able to know the different phases of the product from the delivery of the kernel by the partner.
Finally been able to visit the store has on its premises COATO, who tasted the various presentations and made with almonds.
And they have been able to meet the wide range of products and processed products sold in this establishment (Bioshop), which have in common from raw materials obtained in the holdings of members of the cooperative.
