College Students "Reina Sofia" and the IES "Prado Mayor" have promoted and sold the products of their young companies organized in Murcia Minimarket which brought together more than 2,000 students in the Region of Murcia and was visited by the Mayor of Totana, Isabel Maria Sanchez, and the mayors of Education, Josefa Maria Sanchez Mendez, and Employment Promotion, Maria Jose Baeza.
This initiative arose from the involvement of two separate schools in the projects "Entrepreneurship in my school" (EMR) and "European Young company" (SHAFT), through which they are allowed to approach the world of promotion and business innovation .
As explained by the municipal councilor, with these initiatives aims to develop entrepreneurial skills in children and young people from an early age, working on them skills such as personal initiative, self-reliance, teamwork, leadership, the ability to conflict resolution or communication skills, among others, capacities of an entrepreneur.
This experience, in the words of the mayor, "will serve the school to encourage their creativity and entrepreneurial spirit, closer to actual knowledge of the adversities that provides the business and know first hand, as a result of their academic experiences, details and principles to create and implement a real company. "
However, Sanchez Ruiz has returned to thank the community college educational involvement in this initiative and stressed that these programs develop the skills and capabilities necessary for creating and running a business in the classroom, from one generation to must now be more entrepreneurial by the crisis that exists.
