College Students "Reina Sofia" and ies "Prado Mayor" have promoted and sold the products of their young companies in Totana weekly market.
This initiative stems from the involvement of two separate schools in the projects "Entrepreneurship in my school" (EMR) and "European Young company" (SHAFT), through which they are allowed to approach the world of promotion and business innovation .
To the point of sale in the market installed have moved the Mayor of Totana, Isabel Maria Sanchez, and the councilors Josefa Maria Sanchez, Maria Jose Baeza and Muņiz Bethlehem to see first hand the results of these projects we also collaborates Department of Education.
These projects are driven by the Ministry of Universities, Business and Research, through the Institute for the Promotion of the Region of Murcia (INFO).
These initiatives aims to develop entrepreneurial skills in children and young people from an early age, working on them skills such as personal initiative, self-reliance, teamwork, leadership, conflict resolution ability and communication skills, among others, capacities of an entrepreneur.
This experience will serve the school to encourage their creativity and entrepreneurial spirit, closer to actual knowledge of the adversities that provides the business and know first hand, as a result of their academic experiences, the details and principles to create and implement running a real company.
The Mayor of Totana, Isabel Maria Sanchez, thanked the school's educational community involvement in this initiative and stressed that these programs develop the skills and capabilities necessary for creating and running a business in the classroom, a generation that must now be more entrepreneurial by the crisis that exists.
