Guevara Raul Castellar rider wins third consecutive Rise to Holy XVII Athletics Career Rise to La Santa, organized by the Department of Sports and Athletics Federation of the Region of Murcia.

The test began at half past seven p.m., starting in the Constitution Square, in the center of the city, while the target was located in the atrium of the Sanctuary of the Holy.

In total, 7.33 miles of grueling ascent with no flat section except the first quarter mile.

A total of 324 athletes came to goal.

Of these, 9 totaneras, 47 totaneros and the remaining 268 coming from all the municipalities of the region and neighboring provinces.

The first rider to reach goal was Raul Guevara Mandarache Castellar athletics club with a time of 27'10'' and the first athlete was Fuencisla Juan Mas Crevillente athletics club with a time of 32'33''.

The first goal in entering totanero was Federico García Lorca (eighth overall) with a time of 29'46'' and the first totanera was the young Mari Angeles Victoria Martinez with a time of 40 '22''

The race featured three aid stations, the first two kilometers of water in 3 and 5 were sponsored Aquadeus and the last to the finish area where you had the collaboration of Coca Cola for such supplies.

All runners received extensive stock broker with commemorative hat and shirt.

The race featured many free services such as wardrobe, massage, transfer of family and friends of athletes from start to finish, showers at the finish area, shuttle buses from goal to the starting area, medical and ambulance, etc..

The test was timed by Asuspuestos.com and had the cooperation of the Judges of the Athletics Federation of the Region of Murcia.

The trophies and prizes was given by the Councillor for Sports of Totana, Bartolomé Pérez Pallares, Councillor of Finance, Maria Jose Baeza and President of the Athletics Federation of the Region of Murcia, Juan Manuel Molina.

At the beginning of the city of Totana delivery delivered a reproduction of the church of Santiago (starting of the race) to Juan Manuel Molina for helping to organize the event of the Athletics Federation of the Region of Murcia.
