Following the intense activity of CAT Totana athletes, Sunday morning March 3 took place in the port city of Cartagena the 20th edition of the Half Marathon, taking place alongside a test of 11 kilometers.
The circuit for this edition had some modifications, hit by the organization and between the two tests took part over 1300 athletes.
About 10:20 hours turned out both races, accompanied for much of the journey to athletes rain.
Regarding the representation of CAT in the 11 kilometer race took part Edu brothers Lucas and Antonio Vera.
Edu completed a great career goal entering with a time of 40:30, ranking seventh in Senior.
Antonio finished the race in 49:48.
As for the half marathon, Diego Manuel Vidal finished with a time of 1:52:14, Poli Alcaraz did in 1:58:59 and 2:07:10 Pepe Sáez on.
The following week, on Sunday March 10 was held the second edition of the running trails "Serrania de Librilla" test that had a participation around 650 athletes, divided between the modalities of running trails and crossing.
In the first two were representing the CAT pro mountaineers, José Manuel Vázquez and Pepe Sáez.
The test had a distance of 22 miles with a cumulative altitude of 900 meters, crossing the landscape of the Sierra del Cura, recreation area foresters and the Castellar.
Regarding time, Pepe goal came in 2h: 21:58 and Jose Manuel finished the test in 2:29:38.
On Sunday March 17 held in Murcia city the 34th edition of its half marathon, held in conjunction with the parallel testing of 10 kilometers.
Between both tests gathered more than 2500 athletes filled the central route in recent years with the starting and finishing at the Pavilion Infante.
Good morning that accompanied the participants, among whom were the brothers representing CAT Edu and Lucas together with Pepe Antonio Sáez in the distance of 21 kilometers, while in the 10 kilometers was Hipólito Diego Alcaraz and Manuel Vidal.
With regard to the times in the half marathon, Edu completed the course with a great lap of 1:24:26, Antonio completed it in 1:42:06 and Pepe, despite his back injury, was able to finish the race in 2 : 19:08.
As for the 10-km Diego finished with a time of 42:30 and 47:58 Poli.
The upcoming events where he will present the CAT will Totana half marathons in Puerto Lumbreras, Elche, Jumilla and Bullas, among others.
