The Department of Sports held on Sunday March 10th a hiking trail called "blooming Cieza" which sought to inform hikers the burst of color that occurs these days in Cieza with flowering peach, apricot and other fruit .
Fortunately the date was a success and walkers enjoyed a wonderful route with orchards in bloom and the river Segura always close.
The route, which was attended by 44 walkers, was directed by Antonio Martinez Cano and had a distance of 11 kilometers.
The tour started at quarter past nine at the junction leading to Soto de la Zarzuela.
Immediately after hikers took a road leading to the river Segura and crossed the ditch that part of the Waterwheel of Hoya Garcia.
The dam was the technical stop to regain strength.
Subsequently hikers headed for the traditional orchards of peach and apricot plantations and always the river Segura wearing a magnificent flow.
In the vicinity of La Parra, left the river bank, to raise and enjoy splendid views of the garden of Cieza.
The route ended at 13 hours so at 14:15 hikers were already in Totana.
