The Minister of Education, Training and Employment, Sotoca Constantine, and the Mayor of Totana, Isabel Maria Sanchez, inaugurated this Thursday, at 12:00 hours, the facilities of the new school and Primary Education "La Cruz" Totana .
The school has become operational in the current academic year 2012/13 after the move made last summer by the educational community from the old existing center in the San Roque-Las Parras.
The new center has been built over the last two years in the urbanization "The Scale" and had a budget of nearly three million euros, which have been funded exclusively by the Autonomous Community, with which completes the network infrastructure of schools to meet the needs of the educational community in the coming years.
The last new school that was launched in Totana was the CEIP "Luis Perez Rueda" in the school year 2007/2008 and was opened in December 2007.
