More than 600 people gathered yesterday, Shrove Tuesday, in commemoration of the traditional "Dance of the Masks" which culminated with the program of activities organized by the Federation of Peñas Carnival this year.
A parade led by Charanga de Aledo left the door of City Hall and made a short trip to Calle San Cristobal, where they unveiled a plaque in honor of the ancient custom that marked the completion of the carnival at this site.
The residents enjoyed the music, the atmosphere and good humor, in a party that culminated with the program of activities organized by the Federation of Peñas Totana Carnival.

Carnival in The Paretón
The next Saturday, February 16, will be held in the village of El Paretón its traditional carnival.
