Totana City Council has signed a collaboration agreement with the "University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate" for certification exams official languages ​​in schools Totana and prevent their movement to other parts of the Region of Murcia.
The Mayor of Totana, Isabel Maria Sanchez, and the representative of Cambridge ESOL-institution recognized by the Association of Language Testers in Europe-, Ana Maria Sanchez, today signed an agreement to perform the tests in this county to issue certificates demonstrate knowledge of the English language.
The event was attended by the Councillor for Education, Maria Josefa Sanchez, and the other representative of the University of Cambridge in Murcia, Antonio Azorin.

The Consistory of Totana perform outreach work of the dates and places where the examinations of Cambridge ESOL consider interesting and rewarding for students and teachers.
Cambridge ESOL available to students and teachers of Totana the following tests:
- English Language Certificates YLE (Young Learners Inglés Tests), equivalent to A2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
- Certificate of English KET (Key Inglés Test) and its variant for school age children, equivalent to Level A2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
- Certificate of English Language PET (Preliminary Inglés Test) and its variant for school age children, equivalent to Level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
- Certificate of English FCE (First Certificate in Inglés) and its variant for school-age students, equivalent to level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
- Teaching Knowledge Test (TKT) for teachers.
Colleges or institutes Totana wishing to participate in the project adhere to this agreement, made available to the Cambridge ESOL examination centers, also opt to take part in the project, the necessary premises in their own facilities that must comply with the provisions of the "Handbook for Centres" (Handbook for Centres) which every year publishes Cambridge ESOL.
