The Department of Urban and Regional Planning has processed during 2012 a total of 490 building permits and 233 minor major works, figures which correspond in part by the adoption of the General Plan document in the urban area.
As stated by the mayor, and head of the Department of Urban Planning, Isabel Maria Sanchez, who expressed satisfaction at the fact the reduction of time during the past year for the resolution of cases of building permits increased in the case of those who have no weaknesses, about two weeks, while the minor works are granted within the statutory period.
Sanchez attributed this situation to the willingness of local technicians, who have managed to reduce the time in 2012 in a time affordable to citizens.
He also highlighted the 15 public interest authorizations were processed in the same period of time, ie an exceptional regime of prior authorization by the Autonomous Region for the construction or implementation of any activity in areas of soil classification developable.
He also reported that the Department has conducted 68 enforcement orders for health and safety reasons, while 302 have been processed urban discipline records, reporting 36 new, 83 on first occupation license and developed 35 resources.
Municipal technicians Urban Area, similarly, handled numerous cases of interest certificates of occupancy of second occupation (24), segregation (20), declarations of new works (30) Ruins (5), partial plans (35 ), repayment of bonds for major works (113) and lower (35), among many others.
