The Patron of Totana, Santa Eulalia de Mérida, received on Sunday December 16 thousands of flowers in the traditional wreath that puts an end to the festivities in his name, and which was held as usual at the door parish of Santiago El Mayor, in the Plaza de la Constitution.
With this act ending religious activities that have been held by the Foundation La Santa in recent weeks because of the supervisory celebrations.
In the traditional wreath hundred people participated, among groups, associations, and private residents, who have offered flowers and food to be distributed this Christmas to people most in need of the municipality, just as is happening during these days in the novena.
In this act, have gathered city officials, led by the Mayor of Totana, Isabel Maria Sanchez Ruiz, and church, as well as numerous representatives of neighborhood associations and social groups in different areas of Totana, who have offered many bouquets and baskets of flowers to the patron saint of the town, who was dressed in her robe of gold.
