The Mayor of Totana, Isabel Maria Sanchez, has signed a collaboration agreement with UCOMUR to promote social economy, employment and local development in the municipality.
This agreement was signed by the municipal councilor and UCOMUR president, Juan Antonio Pedroza, who have explained the lines of action of this joint project.
The agreement is intended to work in the promotion of the social economy in general and the labor companies, cooperatives and other worker-owned enterprises in particular Totana.
UCOMUR undertakes the development of measures of information, advice and training aimed at improving the business and professional qualifications of those who opt for self-employment through entrepreneurial ventures under the cooperative formula.
In addition, attention will be paid directly and individually, aimed at enhancing the self-employment under the formula of worker cooperative, and especially of women, as well as advice and information intended to integrate the labor market, either paid employment or self under the formula of worker cooperative.
Similarly, it will offer courses or conducting briefings on particular Cooperatives and Social Economy in general, training courses for the creation and implementation of their own company under the formula of worker cooperative, or any another, in order to facilitate market entry of self-employment.
It also provides for the organization of seminars and panel discussions that contribute to enhancing job search as an employed or self-employed, under the formula of worker cooperative, the largest number of people of Totana.
Similarly, be offered participation in all those training programs that develop UCOMUR intends Totana as well as advice, information and development of European Programmes leading to employment promotion.
